The Taste Test Tells All

So I made a million different flavours yesterday, jelly beans, bubblegum millions, strawberry millions, cola bottles and butter rum lifesaver (yummy american sweets). Some worked and some didn't. I also made some vodka soaked sweets. I used haribo and boy are they yummy... Ill be posting tutorials later, maybe tomorrow.

Anyway here goes....

The Jelly Beans vodka didn't make it till the end. My taster tried some half way through and nearly puked it was that bad, so we decided the best course of action was to ditch it.

The Bubblegum and Strawberry millions taste and smell exactly like what the sweets taste of. However they look fine at first but after being left they tend to seperate into vodka and a thick sludge on top. The sludge is yummy, but its the clear bright blue vodka underneath we wanted.

The Cola Bottles is working really well, however they don't fully break down. So its more of a case of just letting infuse for about 8 hours. It would be perfect if you made it on the morning of your party and then just used it that evening. When doing this you also make some of the vodka infused sweets, and they are great :D

Butter Rum Lifesavers are kinda like the fruit polos (remember them) but bigger and different flavours. They broke down perfectly after about 5 hours of sitting still, so if you shook them it would have probably taken alot less time. And the flavour was amazing. You can get cherry lifesavers and I think cherry vodka would be lush.

So there you have it. My write up of my first testing session. Now we know what works and what doesn't but I will post the tutes later on anyway :D

Well I'm back from Tesco and all products are currently being made...We have bubblegum millions, strawberry millions, cola bottles and jelly beans. So far they taste good but they are only just started. So sit tight, cause tutes will be coming soon :D

Okay well I've just been paid.... So I'm off to tesco soon to buy nasty cheap vodka, and some sweets...But for now I'm going to show you some of my supplies for later :D

Skittles Vodka

You can split the flavours up (so you have red, orange, green, yellow and purple) or you can just mix all the skittles upto make one mixed flavour. They both taste great and are a winner with parties. Everyone I know loves skittles vodka!

Whats this all about?

Okay so you are probably wondering what the vodka queen is....

Well I like vodka..... (this isn't the ramblings of a drunk). Vodka is really really versatile. You can mix it with things, and they disintergrate and then the vodka is left tasting yummy.....

So what can you mix it with....

Sweets, chocolate, fruit....

So this is me experimenting with different things to decide what is hot and whats not....
